~happenings~

prophesying prayer - POWERFUL stuff!! really experienced a release and a growth in faith when we practiced on Easter Sunday.

Earthquake tremors~ exciting experience!! mine went like this.....
esther & i were at our own comp tables as usual. bea was sitting on the floor leaning on esther's cupboard. micah was on the mattress. we were just talking, when suddenly bea asked, "why is everything shaking?". then only did esther and i realize that our tables and chairs were swaying. at first esther thought someone was shaking her chair. from outside, chern liang asked everyone "did u feel that??". gim shouts "i thought my chair only shaking!!". my first thought: who's jumping so hard??? LOL... chern liang said jokingly at first "RUN!!" :P
we all ran out to the balcony to see if other residents were feeling it. wai choong then came over and said "better leave the building now!"
esther was still in disbelief, "really must go ar?"
we all just grabbed our wallets and handphones and went out. the moment i stepped out our front door, i heard people from every floor starting to run down the stairs. gates were slamming...people were shouting...everyone was rushing. we soon joined the flow of people rushing to get out. honestly, i was half expecting so see the building starting to collapse. :P

reaching outside, we saw that EVERYONE from EVERY block was rushing out. the whole community of Cyberia residents were outside man!!! what a sight!! it was interesting to see everyone gathering people...everyone was trying to call friends, and pretty soon we were in one whole group together. althought the lines were VERY jammed!
moments later the police, bomba and all arrived. gave orders for the whole building to be evacuated. we were given instruction to go to the main road. and so, many of us moved to a quieter part of the road and gathered in groups to pray. we held hands and prayed for friends, family, the nations, especially indonesia....amazing experience!

anyway, we had to wait outside for bout 3 hours before they let us back in.
i wasn't afraid of dying... i was afraid for my friends and family... i was afraid for the people who are most affected. the indons again.... :( my heart was just crying out for those who were experiencing death of loved ones, lost homes....
Life is short. Gotta stop fooling around and really doing things that matter.

Seniors graduation ~ was holding back my tears. failed to do so at certain instances. looking at all their faces, and knowing that we're not gonna be seeing them (ever or not as often)....oh man....gonna miss them so much!!!! sob*
