PG165 rocks!!

   1st things 1st....PG165 ROCKS!! :D  for those who don't know what the heck i'm talking about, PG 165 is JasonTeoh, Justin, Vijay, & Zhen Xin's band. taking it from the beginning...
FRI: becky, mich, leona, weeliem & i were all packed to head down to melaka...weeliem & leona were going home. but us 3 other gurls were going down SPECIALLY to support our beloved friends' band in the Battle of the Bands. yes..we didn't go for the food, or for fun...but sincerely just to support PG165!!
   so...weeliem practically flew down to mlk. we reached in bout an HOUR starting from the highway. he's really proud of it! lol...reached mlk & immediately dropped by to visit the celebrities-to-be. unfortunately they had to practice for the BIG DAY. so we went to look for food without them. JoashYap came along with us. & we had a REAL entertaining time with him. :P  bad thing was it attracted a lil TOO much attention. grin*
   flying through some events - went back to weeliem's...watched wedding singer with becky (fell asleep most of the time)...chatted with her till bout 4am...really enjoyed our sista to sista bonding & heart to heart talk. "love u becky dear!! may the Holy Spirit continue to fill u with His peace & joy."....awoke to a call at bout 6am (cried a lil again)...greeted weeliem's parents when they got up but 7am...chatted with darling jo anne...went back to sleep...got up at 12pm...had brunch with becky, mich, weeliem...met up with mark, soly & joash in tesco...lepaked at soly's place till 6.30pm...then comes the MAIN EVENT!!!  BOTB!!
 
we were first in line...couldnt wait to get in...sat right in front. the 1st guest band performed..Krong...OH MAN!!! ouch ouch ouch!! we all got a lil deaf from that 1st performance! sigh* it killed our semangat for awhile. PG165 was the 9th band to perform...so we had to suffer screamings, screechings, ear piercing noise for a few hours. there were a few good bands of coz. but MOSTLY noise. FINALLY!! PG165!!! u should've heard the supporting screams n shouts from the "fan club". lol.. SUDDENLY we were awake & on our toes!! they were AWESOME as expected!! making our night worth it. best thing was, JESUS' name was proclaimed through Jason's song to the whole hall filled with hundreds? a thousand? i believe that beCAUSE they made a stand to declare our Lord's name even though MOST of the crowd was made up of malays, God lifted them up in return. they not only won 1st runner up, but also best vocalist-Jason, best drummer-Vijay, best self-composed song. WOO HOOO!!!... we were estatic!!! couldn't stop screaming..couldn't sit still... :D  yea..the eardrum killing experience was worth it.  seeing them win so many awards....we couldn't have been happier... :)
 
note: i was praying before the event, "Lord, You created music..You created instruments..may Your favour be upon PG165 as they have chosen to proclaim Your name. even though Satan has been using music for his own good, I pray that tonight, PG165 WILL win, because music inspired by You is the most beautiful music of all. in Jesus' name, AMEN!"

p/s: soly...thank u SO MUCH for preparing us beds...even though we only got to sleep on them for a lil more than 2 hours. thanks for ur hospitality & for being such a great host!! not forgetting the milo in the morning! :D  so sorry that u had to stay up to wake us though...
