sad news. valentine is gone. not even a week of her stay with my family...one lil careless mistake...n she found a way out the gate. SOB SOB* someone else probably has her now. all we can do is pray that God is looking after her, n she found a good home... : ( everyone is a lil shaken by it, coz she was a really good n smart pup. was learning fast.
sigh* i dont even wanna talk bout it anymore. it's too saddening.

you know what's even sadder? that most people discard mongrels and pups they see on the streets, and those that arent purebreed just because they aren't as pretty or furry have a breed name to it. Even when they come, people shove them away, and when offered a pretty and groomed purebreed dog or bitch, they squeel and hug like they are very so different. it's like some Christians only believeing in helping other believers, and when faced with a non-believer, suddenly everything turns into sympathy and even if that individual is strong in his/her belief in his/her own faith, then the help offered(if offered) would be a hesitant one or even second grade. as indirect as it is, it's discrimination, Christian or not, it's fucked up when people's perception on things (even dogs) gets in the way of doing what's right(humans!). i'm sorry to hear what happened to Valentine, but if you have that much more love to give to a pet, why not drop in SPCA sometime soon. you may not be able to replace Valentine, but you could help by giving a streetdog a new home and a better life.
whoever this is, u THINK i dont keep mongrels?? MOST of my dogs that i've rared throughout my LIFE have been mongrels. in fact, i think ALL of them were! i've never had a pure bred. even Valentine wasnt pure bred. n i dont know why ur bringing it up about christian n non-christians as if I treat them that way?? do i?? for ur information i have MANY non christian friends, n i love them with ALL MY HEART!!!
